Kodak Professional PORTRA Films

PORTRA Films are based on a breakthrough Single Channel Printing and Scanning technology, so you get remarkably harmonious results from film to film, print to print, and scan to scan. These six films offer a level of consistency that sets them apart. You'll get rich, detailed negatives, with a neutrally balanced tone scale from shadows to highlights. The films also give you greater exposure latitude, true-to-speed shooting, excellent flesh tone reproduction, and great mixed-light performance -- so you can shoot with confidence.

PORTRA 160NC

NC stands for "Natural Color." This film is excellent for subtle color and natural flesh tones in controlled lighting situations.

PORTRA 160VC

VC stands for "Vivid Color." This film gives you the extra color saturation you need to make any photograph pop -- without sacrificing natural-looking flesh tones. It works very well in controlled lighting situations.

PORTRA 400NC

Because they're part of a unique family of films, PORTRA 400-Speed Films yield prints that look great alongside those shot on PORTRA 160-Speed Films. PORTRA 400NC Film offers subtle color and natural flesh tones in low-light locations and on-camera flash situations.

PORTRA 400VC

You don't have to give up image quality and print consistency to gain speed. Negatives from PORTRA 400-Speed Films offer strikingly fine grain and high sharpness, and enlarge beautifully. Plus, PORTRA Vivid Color (VC) Films share a color palette across speeds. So you can use PORTRA 160VC in controlled lighting situations and PORTRA 400VC Film for candid shooting and get colorful prints that work together beautifully .

PORTRA 100T

Specifically designed to deliver color accuracy under tungsten illumination (3200K) and allow long exposure time with minimum effect on color balance and contrast. Prints made from KODAK PROFESSIONAL PORTRA 100T film (after balancing for lighting conditions other than 3200K) will have color reproduction similar to that of other PORTRA Films.

PORTRA 800

No more guessing on results when using long lenses or shooting in low light! PORTRA 800 Film is the perfect choice for low light wedding, portrait, and commercial photography applications. PORTRA 800 Film is compatible with the other PORTRA Films so you get predictable results and beautifully matched prints.

Shop: Kodak Professional SUPRA Films

SUPRA Films offer outstanding image structure. The grain has a smooth, clean, unobtrusive quality. In fact, SUPRA 400 delivers the finest grain of any color negative film in its speed class. And, since low grain translates into low noise when film is transferred into the digital domain, that means that SUPRA Film is ideal for scanning as well as enlarging. SUPRA Films incorporate a scanner-friendly emulsion overcoat and can be push-processed by one stop with very good results.
